Kip Kale was raised in the swampy stew known as North Florida. A dabbling musican for most of his life, he eventually found his niche singing and playing the guitar and harmonica.
He played with a few regional bands, notably 'The Fatty Tea Bags', and 'Jess Franklin and the Best Little Blues Band' while earning a Computer Science degree at Florida State University.
After paying the standard musicians' dues in the bars and clubs of the Southeast, he became determined to blend his two main talents, computers and music, and hence Log Cabin Studio was born.
Log Cabin Studio is where the music of Kip Kale continues to pour out. He is currently and continually producing/engineering groups in the studio, as well as touring and recording with his band 'Full Black Out'.
The album 'Log Cabin Music' is Kip Kale's first solo effort. It is "A seriously booty-moving mix of funk, rootsy rock, deep Delta blues, and alt-country" - according to the Tallahassee Democrat, and features some of the finest up and coming musicians the American Southeast has to offer.
